I hope everyone had a magical Christmas! It’s been such a hard year, but on Christmas Day my daughter turned to me and said “This is the best Christmas ever” and you guys…I melted a little. That’s what we all hope for, isn’t it? And no matter what you had under the tree this year, know that the quantity and value of gifts doesn’t have any bearing on you as a parent, or a friend, or a spouse! You are more than a dollar sign friends, and I really hope everyone knows that.
We watched Soul on Christmas Day and it was a nice way to wind down and relax. I was so pleased with the movie and thought it was just wonderful, so if you have Disney+ and haven’t seen it yet, go watch! That’s all I’m gonna say, I promise! :D
As predicted, earnings were low this week, which is all good, it was Christmas! We have two credit cards, one of which earns Disney Dollars and one which earns regular rewards. Both of those gave the payments this week, which I count in our earnings. I put as much as possible on the credit cards, especially our bills! The key to earning this way though, is you can’t accrue late fees- everything that goes on those cards must be paid off on time. For some folks that’s easy and for others it is more difficult. This is one of those “try at your own risk” ways of padding your fund. Maybe try putting something like your phone bill or utilities on your credit card and then pay it off immediately. If that works out, consider adding more bills to the card. If necessary, put a reminder on the calendar or in your phone to check your bill before it becomes due so you don’t forget.
