I tried a new Cheddar Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe. It was so good and the cheese sauce goes well over rice or noodles.
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans Cream of Chicken, undiluted
- 1 can Cheddar Cheese Soup, undiluted
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Place chicken in slow cooker.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a medium sized bowl, mix soups together.
- Pour over chicken.

Is this recipe with frozen or thawed chicken? If thawed, is it possible to do with frozen chicken? If so, how long should the frozen chicken cook in the crockpot?

It’s with thawed chicken. I’m not sure exactly how much time you should add for frozen…

Thank you! I used frozen chicken breasts….still peppered, salted and garliced them, added some celery and ended up with very tender, really good and tasty chicken! Thank you!!

This is a tried-and-true recipe! You can also add frozen broccoli florets to the crockpot in the last 30 minutes of cooking, and if you have enough “sauce” you can even add rice and it will cook along with the chicken.
