This Chicken and Stuffing Slow Cooker Chicken Recipe is better than Thanksgiving dinner! The chicken is so tender that you can cut it with a fork!
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ c. flour
- ¾ tsp seasoned salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ¼ c. butter
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom
- ¼ c. water
- 1 box stuffing mix
- In a ziploc bag, mix together seasoned salt, pepper, and flour. Dredge the chicken in flour mixture.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown chicken on both sides in the skillet. Once browned, place in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Mix soup and water together. Pour over chicken.
- Fix stuffing according to package directions but cut the water it requires in half. Then place in slow cooker on top of chicken and soup.
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours.

You are so right about the crock pot being the smart way to cook on a hot day. As an added “veggie bonus”, I am using a stuffing mix that calls for celery and onions. I am trying this recipe for the first time today, it smells wonderful and I can’t wait to find out how it tastes.
