Do you need a super quick and easy idea for a Valentine Box for your kids?? If so, I have one for you! All you need is an empty shoe box, spray paint, some stickers, and 18 (1 1/2 or 2″) wooden discs.
First, cut a slot in the box top. Make sure it’s large enough to fit the majority of Valentine’s in, but not too large that you don’t have room for your discs to be glued on. Next, you’ll need to glue three discs together (on top of each other) to make the “Lego” pegs. You’ll end up with 6 total. Then glue each set on top of the box, three on each side, to represent the top pegs of a Lego. Once everything is glued together, let dry. Once it’s dry, spray paint your entire box, pegs and all, whatever color you choose. Now let that dry. Your last step is to decorate your box with stickers. The possibilities are endless!
