Brownies are my favorite dessert so I set out to discover ways for making the perfect brownie. No matter what brand you buy, never over mix the batter. Your brownies will turn out tough. Also, use a glass baking dish instead of a metal one. Metal baking pans tend to have hot spots and your brownies won’t cook evenly or will come out tough because metal heats up quickly and holds heat longer. If you don’t have a glass baking dish, you might want to reduce your cook time by 5 or even 10 minutes to ensure your brownies aren’t overcooked.
