Want to know how to measure sticky ingredients? When measuring honey, molasses, and peanut butter, it’s hard to get all of it out of your measuring spoon. The trick is hot water. Fill up a glass with HOT water and dip your measuring spoon in it before you pour the honey in. Don’t wipe off the water. The sticky ingredient should slide right out. In recipes that call for a sticky ingredient plus a cooking oil, measure the oil first and then the sticky ingredient and it’ll pour right out easily as well.
