Time flies by while at Disney! Melissa has learned some great insight as to how to maximize fast passes for her future trips.
We had a great trip overall! My boys enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back. There are a few things I will do differently in the future to save us from spending as much time in line.
Hollywood Studios – we got there half hour before opening and still had a lengthy wait to sign up for Jedi training. We actually barely made it to our Toy Story Mania fastpass. I’ve heard since we have been back, that people with Hollywood and Vine breakfast reservations get to sign up with no line beforehand, so next time I may try that. I feel like we wasted park time waiting in line that morning though maybe it wouldn’t have been as bad if we had gotten there even earlier.
Epcot – we did a test track fastpass, next time I’d do Frozen Ever After as we waited about 45 minutes to ride it right before closing. We walked onto Soarin that morning thanks to Garden Grill breakfast reservation, so that was a win! I think Test Track may be easier to get a fast pass later in day or single rider whereas Frozen Ever After there wasn’t any fastpasses available later in the day.
Magic Kingdom – we missed shows and parades, next time I would try to plan to be able to see more of those. We definitely saw and rode a lot but still missed so much. It felt like time went so much faster than normal there. We also didn’t fastpass talking Mickey and that is the one thing my son is sad we missed. I never saw a chance to grab a 4th fastpass. The wait times throughout the day weren’t reasonable for talking Mickey either.
At the end of the day, we had a great time and can’t complain about that!
