Two of my favorite things are chocolate and Mickey Mouse…..so why not combine them?! They’re simple to make and taste delicious, too!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Mini Oreos
Double Stuff Oreos
Chocolate Almond Bark
Lollipop or Cake Pop Sticks
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Next, you’ll need to twist apart the mini oreos. You’ll need one mini oreo (both sides) and one Double Stuff Oreo for each Mickey head. Melt your almond bark according to package directions. Once melted, dip one half of one of the mini oreos in the almond bark and press firmly into the Double Stuff Oreo. Do the same with the other half, to make “ears”. Then dip the lollipop stick into the melted almond bark, and press it into the bottom of the Double Stuff Oreo.
Lay on parchment paper. Once you’ve filled your cookie sheet. Place the sheet in the freezer for 5-10 minutes until set. Remove from freezer. Reheat your almond bark, if necessary, if it’s starting to harden. Using a spoon, pour the melted almond bark over your “Mickey” head, turning it accordingly, and letting the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl. When completely coated, return Mickey pop to parchment paper. Freeze for 20-30 minutes until chocolate has hardened. Remove from freezer. That’s it. Now they’re ready for you to enjoy! I store mine in the refrigerator. They should be good for a couple weeks, but ours never last more than a couple days!
