This isn’t so much a how to save money tip and more of a ‘how to grow your fund’ tip.
We’ve all done it. There is a deal- or something you just want. So you add it to the cart and get halfway through the checkout process before you go wait…what am I doing? You’re not supposed to be spending money, KD. Slow your roll!
Then you abandon the cart. Sometimes that retailer will send you special offers– and sometimes they won’t.
So what to do, what to do? I actually turn my abandoned carts into a money making endeavor! If you’re right there- so close to spending the money you can taste it and then you don’t? Pay yourself, friend! After all, if you had the money to buy that thing you wanted but didn’t need, you’ve got the money to put in your fund, or your savings! You can do it any way you want to- put $5 in for every abandoned cart. Tuck away half the value of what you didn’t spend. Put it all in the fund! Do it however your budget permits, but definitely reward yourself for not making a purchase by fattening up your fund or your savings.
I never thought about it that way
Thanks another good tip
I’m glad you liked it! :D <3
