When we stayed at Pop Centure they did this with our daughter’s minnie doll – they also had all her stuffed animals and princess barbies lined up on the bed with the tv turned on so they were “watching” it when we got home one day. So fun! Maybe you have Zoila too! :)
When we stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge in July for 7 nights, they did nothing special on any of the nights. I left a tip everyday, guess they were too busy. This was our 9th trip to Disney and I was disappointed that they did nothing special for the kids. It was my sons birthday while we were there, so it would have been nice to have that little extra magic. :(
I love to see these! We had the BEST Mousekeeper at Port Orleans Riverside in September. Every day she came up with some elaborate thing using stuffed animals and her own towel creations. She even made a hammock for my daughter’s doll that went between the bed rails. I kept a list of every cast member that was great (mousekeeping, wait staff at restaurants, etc) and mentioned them by name in the post-vacation survey that Disney had sent! I think everyone there should be recognized for going above and beyond their typical duties!
That is so magical for the kiddos! Makes it exciting to come “home” every night!
One of the sad things about being a DVC member is that mousekeeping doesn’t tidy up your room every day.
How fun! We got something new every day at Disneyworld, from decorating the girls princess dolls in the window to adorable towel animals. I would love to post a pic on here of what the wonderful housekeeping ladies did for us!

We also were greeted each evening with housekeeping surprises. From towel/wash cloth animals, bows and a towel birthday cake. Window deco too.
