Have you ever bought a new pair of shoes, wore them for a day and then decided you absolutely hated them? Unfortunately they are worn now, the soles are dirty and many stores aren’t too keen on letting you return obviously worn shoes.
Next time you get a new pair, try this trick.
Cover the soles of your shoes with glad press and seal, then wear them around the house! Try going up the steps of your house a few times. Get a feel for how they fit- and if you don’t love them, you can peel off the press and seal and return them, still clean! This way you don’t get stuck with a pair of shoes that are uncomfortable and lose your money on something you’ll never use.
*NOTE* This is not a trick to buy fancy shoes you intend to wear to one event and then return them after wearing them. It’s not a trick to keep a week’s worth of wear out of shoes and then return them to the store for a new pair. This is just a tip to help you decide if you truly like and will wear the shoes beyond the three minute back and forth you do in the store to see if they fit!
