How exciting for the kids. Love seeing their big grins, well at least your daughter’s big grin. Hope the tooth fairy visited her even though she swallowed her tooth. My poor daughter had to have 7 teeth removed (3 baby and 4 permanent) on Thursday. She has overcrowding and will be needing braces. She is 11 but still my baby. And the tooth fairy was very nice to her for all she had to go through.
I’m so excited for you. We are Disney addicts. We’ve taken two trips in the last three years and I can’t wait to go back. I love your website and all the great tips.
I kind of like my kids counting down the days and building their excitement, but WOW! How exciting to wake up and find that you’re going to DISNEY!!! It’s fun to watch you and your family on your vacation!
I bet they were sooooooo happy to find the balloon and realize they are going to DisneyWorld. I’m so jealous right now! lol I want to go to Disneyworld! I can’t wait for the summer. What a great way to start the new year – at Disney! Have fun!
So adorable! By the way, when we were in Disney the week of Christmas, I noticed that every time we purchased something, there would be a coupon at the bottom of the receipt for 20% off a merchandise purchase you could use between 9am-12pm at certain stores in each park. Also, on the back page of the parade, show & firework schedule brochures in each park, I found coupons for 30% off dining @ certain restaraunts @ each park if you ate before noon or between 3pm-4:30pm…so check your receipts and the brochures!! :) Have fun!
I am so ready to go back to Disney. My daughter and I went at the end of September 2010 and LOVED it. It had been around 25 years since I was there last – and my daughter’s first time. Can’t wait to relive the trip while you are down there. What a great way to start the new year!!!! Have fun.
I am so excited for you. You deserve it so much. I love your site and that you put so much personal info on here, I go to a couple of other blogs but it is strictly deals. I love the fact that I feel like I know you and your family and we have never met! Have a great time!
Best resolution you could make! I love that we are starting the new year at Disney! I wish we were going to make it to the parks today. Darn crowds. We will probably go to Downtown Disney though.
Wish I was on my way to Disney!!! Can’t complain though, we only live about 40 minutes from Disney and go ALL the time! The kids just got the water park passes for Christmas! Have a GREAT time :)
Yes, those are similar – looks like different yarn though. Just posted the http://pink-alligator.com link since I was the one that made them for Kristin’s kids :-)
I am so going to surprise our kids on our next trip. I have always wanted to but I am so excited too that I just want to share with them. I think though now that we have been a few times surprising them would be neat!!!! I like the way you did it with a box and a balloon…
We head out for our trip in 27 days. Our family’s first Disney trip! We have about a 12 hour drive. Wondering if you have any Disney road trip tips? Or maybe you have a previous post to direct me to.Our kids are 4 & 2 and I would love to make some Disney Magic on the road there. They say getting there is half the fun : )
Do your fingers get cramped from replying to everyone’s post? I get so sick in the car when I read…so I couldn’t respond if I were you. That’s why I sing on long car trips…my husband prefers and encourages me to sleep though! :)
Be careful on your way…you should go to Disney every other month! :) We look forward so much to following your trips, it gets me excited to hopefully book our trip in two years!
Whew….lol!
I hope she wasn’t to upset because she swallowed it…poor girly ;o(
I love toothless smiles though!!! These pictures are such neat reminders of how fast they grow up…My Emma, who is 13,just lost her last 2 baby teeth (actually had them pulled). She almost swallowed her tooth too.She said the dentist lost grip of it and she said she almost choked on it…lol..maybe a lil dramatic, but she laughed about it.She’ll have her braces on in 2 weeks.Where does the time go!
Enjoy the rest of your drive and be safe….I always have to have my eyes on the road and my foot on my imaginary brake while driving from PA to Orlando down I 95.It’s 17 hours of pure enjoyment for my husband….he loves my help…lol just kidding…he’d prefer me to be snoozing….and since my Serta Perfect Sleeper pillow arrived last week in the mail…he might just get lucky next trip…LOL!
ttyl,
Tracie :D

Your kiddos hats are sooo cute. They look like they have Mickey ears on them. Did you make them or where on earth did you manage to find those hats?
