I’ve always been a fan of Fish ‘n Chips so when I was choosing a Disney Springs restaurant for my birthday, I went with Raglan Road at Disney Springs. Yum yum!
We arrived at Disney Springs at 4 pm and our reservation wasn’t until 6 pm. We walked around in the June heat with our masks on for a while and oh man….that was tough. So by the time we got to the restaurant for our dining reservation we were drenched in sweat and exhausted.
They sat us back in the far corner way out of view of the entertainment stage. We were so hot that we didn’t mind since we were in the A/C….that is until the entertainment started and you could hear it, but not see it. So if you dine at Raglan Road, definitely request a table with view of the stage. Otherwise, major FOMO.
Raglan Road does have a bread service. They bring out Irish Soda Bread with a Guinness Reduction. It was delicious and it really hit the hungry spot we had developed from 2 hours in the Florida heat.
We both added the Caesar Salad to our dinner. How delicious does this look? Bacon….fancy shredded cheese…housemade croutons. Very satisfying and exactly what we needed to chase the Irish Soda Bread.
And you absolutely can not go wrong with Fish ‘n Chips. This beer battered fish filet was very crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. They brought it with a side of tartar, ketchup and vinegar. Do you put vinegar on your fries too? I just douse the whole thing.
I didn’t get pictures of the inside of the restaurant….but we plan to go again sometime and ask for a table where we can actually see the entertainment. They also didn’t have brussels sprouts on their opening menu, and those are worth a trip. So we will be back!
