October 1st is now around the corner, with the kickoff of Disney World’s 18-month long 50th Anniversary celebration. This same date, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure officially opens at the recently expanded France pavilion at EPCOT.
Starting October 1st, get ready to shrink down to the size of Chef Remy and race through Gusteau’s restaurants on this family-friendly 4D attraction.
The France pavilion at EPCOT has nearly doubled in size with the recent expansion. This includes the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and a brand new creperie restaurant, La Crêperie De Paris open on October 1, 2021. These are part of the historic, multi-year, transformation of EPCOT.
Extending from the existing to the expanded France pavilion, guests can walk along the water with a path made to look like decomposed granite as found in Paris. Plus, rat motifs in cast-iron benches and railings are a magical touch!
Another magical touch to look for is the manhole cover near the fountain! This is in reference to Remy entering Paris through the sewer as in the film.
For a fun photo op, hop on Chef Skinner’s scooter and Chef Colette’s motorbike now in the France Pavilion.
