We have another Couponing to Disney winner off the weekly Disney Sweepstakes round up post I put up every Saturday night at 7 pm cst. If you aren’t entering Disney Vacation sweeps, you might want to start!
Here’s the email I got from Nichole:
Thanks to you and your sweepstakes posts, I entered the Mr. Food Disney Sweepstakes and won!!!! I won a 4 night/5 day vacation for 4. My trip includes airfare, tickets, hotel room on Disney property, and a $300 gift card for extra expenses! I am planning to go with my best friend and her two children. This will be their first trip and we are planning to surprise the children with this trip! Can’t wait until we tell them, You’re Going To Disney World!! THANK YOU, KRISTIN for compiling the sweepstakes and posting reminders about various contests!
Congratulations Nichole! I hope you have a fabulous trip!
Awesome! it’s always encouraging to hear of people who actually won a contest. have a blast!
Congratulations Nichole! I won a Disney trip through the Disney website a few months ago and we’re taking our trip to Disneyland next week. So much fun! Have a great trip!!!
Congratulations!!! It’s an awesome feeling, isn’t it?!!
Congrats! Have a magical time!
That’s sooo great! Thanks for posting the sweepstakes Kristin!
Have a great time! What a great surprise for the kids!!
Congrats to all of your readers winning sweeps! I have a question. How do you know if the prize you win is legitimate? For example, if I have entered a ton of sweepstakes and get a phone call saying I may have one something…how do I know if it is real? Or are you always notified via certified mail if the prize is legitimate. Thanks!
I was provided with a phone number and email address to contact the person in charge of the contest. I was then asked to sign a winner affidavit and was informed I would be contacted by a WDW representative to schedule my vacation. I felt the same way you did. I felt better when I was not asked to provide any money or any important information such as Social Security number, bank account, etc. Good luck with any contests you enter!
I won a similar trip to Disneyland through the Disney website a few months ago and when I was contacted I was sure it was a scam. I didn’t get an e-mail or phone call first…Fedex just showed up at the door with documents stating I was a potential winner and I had to sign an affidavit and return it within 48 hours. It asked me for all kinds of information…SSN, family members names, birthdate, etc. I had to call the contact person to verify that it was real…plus I re-read the rules of the contest and everything matched up. If you’re a real winner they’ll never ask you to pay anything.
Congrats! Hope you and your friend and her two kids have a fabulous time!!!
