Guests at the Mexico Pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase will find an exhibit named, Remember Me! La Celebracion Del Dia De Muertos. This exhibit is inspired by Disney’s Coco and based on the Mexican tradition of Dia de Muertos which takes place yearly November 1-2.
Explore the traditions of Dia de Muertos, a way to honor those who have departed. Explore the gallery and read the plaque cards for interesting facts.
In the center of the gallery, guests will find a Bridal Couple sculpture, standing at 10 feet tall.
Among the artifacts are Sugar Skulls. Plus, learn the creative process behind some pieces created by artists.
Some items include pre-Hispanic items. These artifacts are on loan to EPCOT from different museums.
Other pieces include papel picado and paper sculptures.
