Reusing containers instead of throwing them out and buying tupperware is an easy way to save money.
Containers with lids like sour cream and butter tubs can be saved for storing leftovers in.
Juice bottles can be refilled. Especially useful if you dilute your kids juice. You can take a full bottle and pour half into an empty bottle and fill both with water.
Baby wipe containers are great for storing small things and are nice and stackable.
Peanut butter and mayonnaise jars can be cleaned out and used to store homemade sauces or dressings. They also make great containers for dried beans or noodles, instead of storing them in the bags they come in.

I use butter tubs, soup tubs and glass jars to put my beads, craft items and buttons for my craft projects and to organize my sewing room and craft area.

I use peanut butter and mayonnaise jars as gift jars. Fill with hot wheel cars or nail polish, files etc, snacks or hair accessories…the possibilities are as great as your imagination. I use washi tape to add a little color to the outside. Sometimes melt holes in the sides, directly under the lid, with wood burning tool and make a handle out of twine or ribbon

I wrapped my grandchildren’s Christmas gifts in recycled popcorn cans.
Their mom’s thought it was popcorn and told them to wait till they watched movies to open and eat the popcorn. Well, lo and behold they were in for a surprise.
Movie night came around two weeks after Christmas and the kids were sent to bring the cans of popcorn. “SURPRISE!” They had more gifts to open!!
Never underestimate Gramma. :)

I like using the creamer container to mix my salad dressing in to make it last longer. I squirt some from the original bottle into the creamer bottle and add water and shake to lighten up the dressing and also sometimes mix flavors. Also when I buy those bagged salads that come with the little pkged dressing, I squeeze the dressing in the bottle and add water to make it go further cuz they never give u enough to cover your salad

Creamer bottles are great for storing juice or tea in. They don’t leak and it takes up less space in the fridge, if you put them in the door area. Also easier for kids to pour their own drink without the chance for large spills. I also take them for camping. I’ve also used them as ice bottles for the cooler.

I try to not buy items in containers as much as possible. Buying bulk items also save money bu not payi g tbe factored in the pricing in grocery stores. However there are some Items that are favorites but can not be avoidable of purchasing without the containers. Example. Pringles(TM.) So I bought decorative self adhesive paper. I measure and cover the exterior to mateh my eeds.someti.es I makecookies and put tbem in the tin then put a bow on it and give away as hostess gifts, birthday, or get well vifts. Reciently I recovered so.e that match my bedroom. I put hair clips ans such in one tea candles in another and tapered candles witb matches for emergancy. In tbe other one I put to collect end of day change.

Lol, it is hard to find the butter in my house for this very reason. I also fill gallon jugs with water and place in the freezer. We put them in the pool to cool it off when it gets hot.

Wish I could get my pool hit to have to cool it down!

Float some black trash bags in your pool. It really does raise the temp.

I know when we were kids my mom would take the empty containers, clean them really well, and then we would use them in our play kitchen. We loved having the same ‘food’ in our kitchen that mom had in hers! Another idea if you have matching Tupperware and don’t want extra containers in the cabinet!
