Most women wear it, so why not try to save on your makeup? I found a pin on Pinterest explaining how to fix broken pressed powder. It also works for any other powder type makeup like eye shadow. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thrown something away because I dropped it and it broke into little tiny pieces. To fix it as good as new, put a few drops of rubbing alcohol into your compact. This will seep into the powder and it will become soft. Mix it around and smooth the powder in the compact. Let it dry over night and it will be fixed! The alcohol evaporates so there won’t be any lingering smell and it won’t dry out your skin.

Store the poof in your pressed powder compact upside down. It keeps the oils on your skin from sinking into the pressed powder and ruining it. You get to save money on buying less powder! – Tricia
A really good tip is to invest in a makeup BRUSH to apply your foundation. That will save so much product and your foundation/powder will last so much longer because you can control how much it picks up. When applying with sponges, you actually waste a lot of product because it sinks into the sponge. – Shelly
You can also wash the poof and spray the powder (all powders including eye shadows) with alcohol. It keeps the powder germ free and keeps the powder moisture free. – Beth
