Welcome to Week 8 of the Saving for Disney Challenge. If you aren’t aware of what the challenge is, take a moment to read over this post (You’ll also find a link to past week’s recaps in that post). You can jump in at any time….don’t think you can’t because you didn’t start with us. We do not have to all save at the same rate.
Are you ready to kick off your savings? I have a 5 Day Email Course that will teach you how to start saving for Disney now!
Tax Season
With tax season upon us, here are 4 crucial things to do with your tax return before you spend it on a Disney vacation.
I save all of our spare change for our Disney fund. If your bank requires you to roll your change to deposit it, you can take it to the coinstar machine and change it in for gift cards for free.
Rebates can help you save for Disney! Just pay for the items needed for the rebate out of your weekly grocery budget. Mail in your rebate and when the check arrives, deposit it into your Disney fund. Check out these tips on how to redeem rebates.
This tip takes a lot of discipline to do…. but it can grow your fund!
If you receive cash or gift cards for your birthday, Christmas, etc. consider saving it for your Disney fund instead of spending it.
