Character greetings are wonderful Disney has change things up a bit. Most characters are in one spot all day and they rotate in a fresh one every 15 minutes so the lines are more bearable. The also have photo pass cards these are cards you give to the photographer everytime you have your picture taken. They scan it and then you can take it home and look at all your pictures at home. Instead of feeling rushed to buy them that day at the park. You also can personalize them with the date and different borders. And send them to family members so if they want to order any they can also. You have 30 days once you have activated your card from home to purchase pictures.
Also if you don’t want to do autograph books each time do something like a mini scrap book and have the kids make a book of those characters they want to get autographs of and make pictures of those like coloring book pages and let your kids color then get an autograph. Your kids will be proud to show off their work to the character plus they get to pick who signs their book. Enjoy!!!
I think its great how you are sharing your vacation with all of us. I see your pictures and it makes me smile! I have yet to get to DisneyWorld, but it is a priorty of mine to one day be there, I can’t wait! Enjoy your trip!
My kids are outgrowing the characters. :( Enjoy it while you can. They like their photos with them but aren’t interested in waiting for them. They love character meals but that is it. They are 16, 11 and 8.
Oh how I love character pictures. My hubby has his picture of him and Cinderella plus the one of him and Tigger (his favorite Disney character) in a picture frame by his bed….now that’s not the least bit intimidating as the one with Cinderella LOL My oldest daughter has been to Disney 5 times and we have so many character pictures that we just love to go back and look at them from the time she was 3 all the way up to 8 yrs old. She also has autograph books from each time. We used a few of them at Universal too. Every time my youngest sees them she ask when it is her turn and we finally got to tell her that this year is her year to go!!! We just haven’t told her the time, so I am loving your ideas of how to surprise them. Since we will be in GA and only 6 hrs from Disney when we go, it will be even more exciting as compared to the 14 hrs we have to drive now.
We love characters! One year I was chasing Captain Hook through the park yelling “Wait! We want a picture!” I looked like a crazy person (and he never did stop) but those pics are so cool for a scrapbook .
Do your kids do autograph books every time? My daughter filled hers up last time and I’m trying to decide if it is worth the effort to do one every trip, or just do pics and hugs next time.
I HATE WAITING ON CHARACTERS AT DISNEY, BUT WHEN YOU GET HOME AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES IT IS WORTH EVERY MINUTE. HOPE YOU HAVE HAD A FANTASTIC DISNEY DAY.
We decided for our next trip well plan on who we want to visit with. We spent so much time waiting in line last time.

Soak all those hugs up!
Does every character do autographs?
Yes, leave before it gets to crazy!

I love Epcot too!! We went 2 years ago. The other day my 10yr old was talking about when we went to Disney and ate in China. LOL
Is it still busy there? Our kids went back to school today.
Thanks for posting the pictures. They totally make me smile. Epcot is my family’s favorite park.
