And another one bites the dust. Disney has closed Starring Rolls at Hollywood Studios. They did not give more than a two day warning to the public. I made it over on Saturday to say farewell. The Cast Members were not sure if it would be undergoing a remodel or if it will be closed permanently. Luckily, you can get the popular Butterfinger cupcake and many other treats at the Trolley Car Cafe next door.
I asked the Cast Member what he recommended since they were sold out of the Butterfinger Cupcakes. He recommended the Red Velvet Cupcake (which they did not have at the Trolley Car Cafe). I’ve been a good girl this month (I’ve lost 14 pounds!) so I decided it would be okay to indulge just this once on a Disney sweet. It was really good! I am not normally a Red Velvet fan, but Disney does it right in this cupcake.
I will keep you posted on what they do with the Starring Rolls space. I am sad to see this place close.
