What is a Magic Your Way Package?
Magic Your Way Package is a room and ticket package for the Walt Disney World Resort It is the most popular package that guests who want to stay on Disney property book. You can also add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation if you’d like.
What is the amount required to book a Disney vacation?
Disney requires a $200 deposit to secure your Magic Your Way Package reservation. This applies if you are 46 days or more from arrival. When you are 45 days from arrival, your Disney package is due to be paid in full. You can pay more than $200 at booking, and make payments along the way if you’d like.
May I book a room only and add tickets later?
Yes, you can. However, be aware that when you do so, you convert your reservation to a Magic Your Way Package. At that point, Disney will cancel your room only reservation, refund you the money, and convert it to a Magic Your Way Package. This will require at least a $200 deposit if you are more than 45 days from arrival. If you are less than 45 days from arrival, you will be required to pay the entire package {room and tickets} when you add the tickets.
If I book a Magic Your Way Package, may I add a Disney dining plan later?
Yes. Disney allows you to add a Disney Dining Plan 24 hours before check in. However, to be safe, it’s best to add it at least 3 days before. Keep in mind, you will need to pay the dining package in full when you add it.
If a discount is released for my travel dates, will it be applied to my package?
If your resort and room category are available under the discount, then yes. You will need to call Disney and have them modify your reservation. They will not apply the discount automatically. However, this is one of the amazing perks of using a travel agent, like those at Destinations in Florida. I call Disney to modify any reservations that are released for my guests to save them money. If the resort is not available, I am always ready to share a second option to help you find the best resort for your trip!
