Stories like Mary’s are why I do what I do daily! Mary is an inspiration to us all.
As a stay at home mom of two small boys, I wanted to be able to add a little more to our Disney Fund each month besides our Disney Chase Visa points. We have a big trip planned in September 2017 and I happened upon the C2D page and requested to join. (Side note: It was August 2016 when I joined C2D.) Once accepted, I watched the page for a few days and then made my way to the pinned post at the top to see what I thought would work for me.
Low and behold Swagbucks was one of the major earners for most people. I had just read an article and signed up for SB in June 2016 with a lot of skepticism, but I hadn’t quite got the hang of SB and needed a group like C2D for all of the pointers and help to really get rolling. So, I hit the ground running with SB and started watching comments and offering suggestions if I found something to add to my fund as well – once Brandy’s daily post happened it was even easier to keep up if I had time to sit and do SB or for quick check ins.
My first cash out didn’t happen until September 2016 and ever since it has been a big earner for my fund (To date I have added $1034.44 total to our Disney fund through Swagbucks alone – in 5 months!) I do have to add many days I don’t have time (as most mom’s don’t) to sit and “swag” for long – tops would be 30 minutes I spend in a day, which includes babysitting the NCraves, etc.
To date I have added a total of $3404.19 total to my Disney fund (this does not include our Disney change or money jars, and cash or the gift cards I’m waiting on to arrive from my last cash out). I have found the following earners to work best for me: Swagbucks & SB apps, Ibotta, Checkout51, MPlus/Cricket Rewards, Checkpoints, MileUp, SavingStar, Shopkick, Yaarlo (use code KRISTINC215), ReceiptPal, MobiSave, Walmart Savings Catcher, Achievement and Disney Chase Visa (*We pay the DCV card off weekly to not allow for interest and defeat the purpose of earning Disney money!)
We are well on our way to fully paying for our vacation with money earned through the above apps. So…that is the goal. Fully fund out September 2017 trip after a year of Swagging and apps! I can’t wait to share my final counts for you when the time comes. I hope this shows you it can be done with just a little time each day!
Happy Swagging
