Did you know you could test your eggs for freshness? If you want to see if it is still consumable, submerge the egg in a bowl of cold water:
- If the egg lays on it’s side it’s safe to eat.
- If it stands upright it is starting to age but can still be used for baking.
- If it floats, you should throw it away.
