You may be thinking, did that title say 4 Castles?! Most know Cinderella’s Castle, the icon of Magic Kingdom in Disney World. However, besides the park icon, there are more notable Castles around Magic Kingdom worthy of a photo!
1. Beast’s Castle
Be Our Guest is found within the rocky structures near Beast’s Castle, inside the eatery guests step inside rooms inspired by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Guests will spot the Beast’s Castle from a distance, perched high above Fantasyland. While the Castle appears huge, Disney utilizes a trick called forced perspective to make it seem larger. In fact, the front door of this Castle is only about a foot tall!
2. Prince Eric’s Castle
Guests can board their own Clam shell and take a ride through on Under The Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid. Next door, meet Disney’s Princess of the sea at her Grotto in Fantasyland. This is the only location to meet Ariel with her tail. Above Ariel’s Grotto, a recreation of Prince Eric’s Castle can be seen from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. This area opened in 2012, with the New Fantasyland, adding another Castle to visit in the park!
3. Rapunzel’s Tower
Guests will find a recreation of Rapunzel’s Tower in Fantasyland, al though not quite a Castle it is notable. This area is actually a well-themed restroom, the prettiest bathroom in all of Disney! Look up to see her tower and lanterns overhead. This area is also a must visit in the evening, as the lanterns give a glow in the night.
4. Cinderella’s Castle
Peer down Main St USA and see Cinderella’s Castle standing proudly, at an incredible 189 feet tall. Guests can walk through the Castle and see beautiful mosaics and even head up the winding staircase to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Cinderella’s Castle is a classic photo spot and a fairytale come to life. Plus, now you know it isn’t the only castle in Magic Kingdom!
