I have proclaimed myself to be the World’s Greatest Disney Snacker. After all the money I have spent on snack food, I probably deserve a trophy made of pretzel and covered in chocolate. I talk about the snacks I gleefully consume at Walt Disney World like people discuss 5 Star meals and wine lists at the California Grill. If you ever ate french fries for dinner so you would have room for an after-dinner snack, you just might be a Cheapskate Princess!

How to Score Free Drinks at Disney World’s Epcot!
Snacks are actually some of the more affordable items at Disney. Cupcakes are usually $3.99, some pastries are as low as $2.49, and ice cream is usually less than $5.00. For a family of five, five snacks and three to five drinks will cost upwards of $35 each time you make a pit stop at the bakery on Main Street, U.S.A.
But do you really need to eat the entire cupcake yourself?
I’ve done it, multiple times, and what starts out as a glorious snacking experience usually turns sour, as I am still greedily licking the last of the icing off my fingers. Let’s not even start the discussion about how long it will take to exercise off those calories once you get back from vacation.

My kids and I formulated a plan to split our snacks in half, although we have done thirds and even fourths, so we could have just a taste. A snack by definition is not a meal. It’s a snack. You’re not eating this to get full – well, some of you are – but rather to experience the joy of snacking at Disney.

I know a lot of people go on vacation and want to take a vacation from what they do every day, what they eat every day. But if you’re clipping coupons, cutting corners, and saving pennies to get to Orlando in the first place, then sharing some food can help you out.
And you’ll do some bonding with your friends and family in the process. Just try not to poke them with your fork.

My sister and I always split a candy covered apple, we have them cut it for us in 4ths and then we each have a half but we eat each of our pieces hours apart.
We just got back from Port Orleans Riverside. We took the boat to Port Orleans French Quarter for the Beignets, hot doughnuts with powdered sugar, made fresh while you wait, only one snack credit, gets you six pastries! More than enough to share. Fed our family of 3 for breakfast with leftovers. Yes, one snack credit for six large donuts!
