Previously reported, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea came to the decision to temporarily close as a precautionary measure. Done to ensure safety of guests and cast members due to concerns of the Coronavirus. Originally hoping to open on March 15th, opening is now expected to be delayed further into April and the date of April 20, 2020 as been mentioned as the soonest possible re-opening.
This will also effect the expanded New Fantasyland opening, now expected to open in mid May 2020.
If you have the following unused tickets:
- Fixed date tickets with a Park admission date within the period from February 29 to May 31, 2020.
You may exchange tickets with no fee or charge, ticket valid through March 31, 2021. Annual Passport holders will have a longer expiation date added.
All reservations in parks are cancelled and your credit card will be refunded of any down payments. No cancellation fees will apply.
