Tomorrowland is home to Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin and it’s where you can meet Chip and Dale in their space gear. It is what the people who lived in the 1920’s and 1930’s envisioned the future would be like. (The future being the 1990’s – present.)
Random tips
– Look for a phone under the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and Astro Orbiter. Pick it up and listen to a unique conversation.
– This ride often has a long line past 9:30 in the morning. So if you want to ride it, you need to try to get here early in the day.
– The ride is 1.5 minutes long.
– The smaller person sits in the front and the bigger person sit in the back.
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
– This ride has Fastpass. Don’t get in the standby line if the line is longer than 20 minutes.
SCORING TIPS:
Just hold the button down the whole time.
Aim for the center of the “Z’s” (targets).
The targets that are further away and those that are moving are worth more points.
Hit the top of the volcano for 100,000 points.
After passing the “Rock ‘Em, Sock ‘Em Robots” pivot your car around and see if you can hit the target on the back of the robot’s wrist for 100,000 points.
Look for the spider after the robots and see if you can shoot it.
In the room where the targets are projected, don’t stop shooting.
Try hitting the batteries in the front to knock them down and rack up points.

Disney World is the Most Magical Place On Earth. Be sure to learn how to make the most of your trip by reading the Disney World Training series. You can also browse all the articles I have written in an easy to use outline. And if you are ready to book your trip, be sure to read about the perks of using an authorized Disney vacation planner (plus it’s FREE!).
tip for Space Mountain: This is the one roller coaster where riding in the front doesn’t improve the ride. If you sit in the front you can kind of see the tracks and it kind of ruins the magic.
Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor is a CAN’T MISS for me. Always hilarious! We went 3 times in 1 day and I was chosen to be part of the show twice, which was a little embarrassing but FUN!
Tomorrowland Transit Authority is a very very good ride that gets looked over alot! It’s very relaxing and the last time i was there (Sept ’09) the only other people on it were quite a few car lengths behind. You get to feel the wind in your hair and some great views of the part from cool and interesting angles. I love taking pictures on this ride! (be sure to put youre camera, if digital, on the ‘sports’ setting though!! Or you’ll get blurry pictures)
i’m so behind on the fun posts!
ok, tomorrowland is the bomb. have you noticed in meet the robinsons that when they fly into the future it’s called todayland? inside disney jokes . . . i am very glad they got rid of alien encounter, though. that was the disturb. but tomorrowland is classic disney to me.
Kristin, have you ever thought about writing some sort of book like an e-book where ALL of your Disney tips are? I look forward to your post every day. You are so good and informative that I thought you should think about a book in addition to your posts where all of your tips are in one place! I think alot of your awesome readers would like it! Just a thought.
Shh, don’t tell about the path from tomorrow-land. We never run into people on it, its our quiet place when the park gets crazy. :)
A word of advice about Astro Orbitor, even if the line doesn’t look very long, expect to wait a long time. The ride takes forever to load and unload and doesn’t hold very many people, so things get backed up really easily.
And BTW, I love TTA, “Now entering Tomorrowland!” Its a great way to just relax for a few minutes and feel a nice breeze through your hair and there’s never a wait : )
If you can during off peak season (like November), you never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for a ride.
When using a fastpass, you don’t have to go during the time it tells you to come back. As long as it’s during that time or after you can use it. I’ve used a fastpass 2 hours after the time it told you to come back.
I am playing on the iphone. How easy it Is to use. I just have to get the hang of typing on it.
TTA gives you 10mins break :)
Astro Orbiter
The smaller person sit in the front and the bigger person sit in the back.
Stitch’s Great Escape
40″ Height Requirement not 38″
I work at Stitch :)
On the Space Mountain rollercoaster, you sit one behind another (like single file lines)… so you wont have to worry about who’s gonna sit by who.. so don’t stress if you have an odd number of friends.. I think each section holds 6 people..
Thanks. We will be there in 5 weeks!
