If you love Magic Kingdom it only makes sense to stay at a Magic Kingdom area Resort. Luckily for you, Disney World has many fantastic options. Here are my top 3 Magic Kingdom area Disney Resorts and why!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the essence of luxury for your Disney World vacation. The grounds are beautifully kept at this hotel. Plus, guests have the option of monorail or boat transportation for easy access to Magic Kingdom.
Enjoy fireworks views and view the Electric Light Pageant from this resort. Head to 1900 Park Fare for on-site Character dining. A must visit shop is Basin White, which carries luxury bath & body products by Basin. Little ones can get a makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique now on site. Lounge poolside or on the beach!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has a great atmosphere with a tropical paradise feel. Grab a Dole Whip on site from Pineapple Lanai and enjoy a Character meal with Lilo & Stitch on site with Ohana’.
Magic Kingdom is just a hop on the monorail away. Enjoy fireworks views and view the Electric Light Pageant from this resort. Guests of this Resort also love the pools. Head to the Lava Pool for a not to miss towering volcano and a 142 foot long waterslide! The pool also features a zero-depth entry point and may be my favorite pool on property.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has unique rustic theming, such as the fun Totem Poles found in the lobby. Magic Kingdom can be accessed by water transportation, a relaxing ride with views. Enjoy fireworks views from this resort as well. Try the Hidden Mickey Hunt at Wilderness Lodge.
Try a newer Character meal on site, with Storybook Dining. Another fun feature of this Resort is the Fire Rock Geyser, which erupts daily shooting up to 120 feet! Also, see a personal collection of Walt Disney’s trains (he was a Train fanatic). Then, relax by the pool.
