Maybe Kylo Ren had a chat with the TSA?
Earlier this week, we reported that the force was not with guests bringing home the Specialty Bottled Beverages sold at Kat Saka’s Kettle. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) made a statement via their official Twitter account saying, “Replica and inert explosives aren’t allowed in either carry-on or checked bags”. The specially designed Coke products were meant to resemble a thermal detonator, but the TSA was concerned that the highly sought after souvenir resembled an actual bomb.
But Galaxy’s Edge visitors can rejoice like Ewoks after the Battle for Endor, since multiple news outlets have confirmed the TSA has reversed their decision. On August 30th, the TSA issued a new statement: “We have completed our review, and instructed our officers to treat these as an oversized liquid.”
Visitors to Batuu are free to bring these collectibles home to their own planets!
