Need help figuring out how to understand Fastpass+ and Magic Bands? Here are some answers to commonly asked questions.
How many Fastpass+ selections can I make per day?
You are limited to up to 3 advanced Fastpass+ selections per day and all selections must be in the same park. You can not make a reservation for one attraction at Magic Kingdom and reservations for two other attractions at Hollywood Studios. Once you use the 3 Fastpass+, you can make an additional one using the My Disney Experience app or visiting one of the kiosks in the park.
If one of my Fastpass+ selections expire without me using it, can I book another to replace it?
If the return window for the Fastpass+ experience has already passed, you can not replace it. You must use your Smart Phone or a Fastpass+ kiosk to change your selection before the return window for the existing Fastpass+ selection ends. (So if you were going to ride Pirates between 2-3 pm, make sure you change your Fastpass+ selection before 3 pm.)
Can I use Fastpass+ for the same attraction twice in one day?
You can only book a Fastpass+ experience at one specific attraction per day. All 3 advanced Fastpass+ experiences must be booked at 3 separate attractions. However, you can book a 4th Fastpass+ reservation at an attraction you have already experienced that day.
What happens if I won’t make my Fastpass+ return window?
If it looks like you won’t be able to make your preselected return window for an attraction, you can quickly change your reservation using your Smart Phone or by visiting a Fastpass+ Kiosk. Just make sure you do it before the return window for the existing Fastpass+ selection ends. (So if you were going to ride Pirates between 2-3 pm, make sure you change your Fastpass+ selection before 3 pm.)
Does everyone in my party have to book the same exact Fastpass+ experiences?
No. When you book your Fastpass+ experiences, you can select which members of your party are interested in that specific experience. Everyone can pick and choose what they want to do and they do not have to visit every experience together. If you have older kids that want to ride one of the mountains at the Magic Kingdom, you can book their Fastpass+ experiences together for that attraction and book a completely different attraction for the younger members of your party.
Does Disney run out of Fastpass+ reservations like they ran out of Fastpass paper tickets during the day?
Yes! There is a limited number of Fastpass+ selections available for each attraction. Plan on booking your Fastpass+ experiences before you arrive at the park (if you are staying on-site) or as soon as you arrive for the day using a Fastpass+ kiosk.
If I booked my Fastpass+ experiences 60 days before I arrive, can I still change them?
Yes. You can change your Fastpass+ selections at anytime before your return window for the attraction arrives.

If staying onsite, we can book 60 days out, correct? Is it 60 days from when we check in (say Sunday) or 60 days from the date of that particular park (say following Tuesday)?
Went to WDW in September and used the magic bands and Fastpass+ for the first time, I HATED IT! I don’t have internet on my phone (It’s a phone, that’s what I use it for) so I was limited to the fastpasses I picked 60 days before I was at Disney. Not to magical of a time. The paper ones allowed you to enjoy Disney and when you decide you want to go on a ride you either stand in line or pick up a pass. The new method your running around trying to remember when your FPs are and which part of the Kingdom it’s in, 60 days after you set them up. I’ve been going to Disney every other year (at least) since 1974, and this was the worst trip there. Usually we get home and start planning our next trip, so far this time, no one even cares if we go back. What a shame Disney has ruined the magic for our family. Dinning was even worst.
When you say dining was worse do you me your dining experiences or the dining plan??
