Both Disney World & Universal Orlando have attractions for little ones and all ages to enjoy together. Fantasyland is a great spot for the family at Magic Kingdom for many attractions with no height requirement. Including, the classic at Disney World is Dumbo. While Universal Orlando does not have Dumbo, it has a similar ride with a Dr. Seuss theming. At Universal Orlando, ride One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish (Islands of Adventure). 5. Water Parks
Consider adding a Water park day to your theme park vacation. Disney World has 2 water parks to choose from, while Universal Orlando has 1 water park.
Walt Disney World – Blizzard Beach (12 attractions) & Typhoon Lagoon (11 attractions)
Blizzard Beach is a former Ski resort that has melted, therefore the theme is a Ski Resort with Ski lifts and hints of snow left behind. Plus, Christmas music year round. Typhoon Lagoon came about from an epic storm, therefore the tropical theme contains a wrecked ship. Enjoy a more typical beach theme at this water park.
Universal Orlando – Volcano Bay (19 Things to do)
Even during the cooler times of year the water at Volcano Bay is heated to 85 degrees. This water theme park has a traditional tropical theming, with a not so traditional 200-foot-tall volcano named “Krakatau,” in the center.
