Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress in the Magic Kingdom takes you on a tour of the 20th century to see how technology has improved our way of life. Walt Disney himself designed this for the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair. It was located at Disneyland until September 9th, 1973 when it was packed up and moved to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World where it opened in 1975.

My favorite ride!
It’s located in Magic Kingdom in Tomorrowland between Buzz Lightyear’s Spin, Astro Orbiter , and Space Mountain. A great place to cool off, unwind, and be entertained for 20 min.
I like this ride…however it is not in EPCOT as the pic says. It is in Magic Kingdom in Future World…
It says you might enjoy the outpost in epcot. But it state it’s in magic kingdom
I miss the ‘original’ song they had at WDW. I know the song they use now was the one from the original ride when Walt created it but that is used in CA, the one they use to use in WDW is the one I know from when the FL park opened. Hopefully they will bring it back some day.
The Carousel of Progress is one of my absolute favorite attractions at Disney World! I make sure to hit it every time I visit. I just love taking in all the little details and notice something new every time I see it. Oh and it’s definitely the PERFECT place to cool down and take a load off!
