Hi, I am Kristin Cooper and I am the owner of CouponingtoDisney.com and the SavEars Facebook Group. It is my goal to help you coupon and save for Disney vacations and then repeat the process all over again!
“Couponing to Disney” is a term I came up with to describe what I do. I find unique and creative ways to save and earn money and I use it to pay for my yearly trip to Disney World. There is no physical ‘coupon’ to Disney. (I actually get asked that question a lot!)
You don’t HAVE to ‘Coupon to Disney’. You can follow my advice and use it to coupon to another vacation, to replace one of your current incomes (some people are able to stop working and stay at home with their kids!), or save for anything that you might want or need. It’s about learning how to pay for things you thought were out of your reach. As the great Walt Disney said, “If you can dream it, you can do it.”
How do help you save for Disney?
- Savings on Everyday Items. Everyday, we post deals that help you save on all areas of your budget…from groceries to gifts and everything in between. You’ll find these deals directly on the homepage of CouponingtoDisney.com. You’ll also find them dropped into SavEars and emailed nightly to those on our email newsletter (sign up here).
- Saving with Other Disney Fans. Our SavEars community on Facebook has over 50,000 members who are all working to save for their goals. We share every blog post we write in SavEars, but everything is published onto the blog first. SavEars members also share their savings goals, brags, recipes, Disney trips, and everyday questions and concerns. It is a Disney group unlike any other out there. And best of all? It is a safe space where no drama is allowed.
- Saving Time on Disney Vacations. In addition to savings on everyday items, we post articles that help you save on time, money, stress and hassle during your Disney vacation. And our C2D Dream Team helps you to plan your vacation as well as a laundry list of other amazing perks.

Why do I Coupon to Disney?
- Walt Disney World is truly the most magical place on the earth to us. From the moment we go under the welcome arch, we are surrounded by nothing but magic. I am a kid at heart and I love to meet Mickey and all his friends and I love to go as often as I can. “Couponing to Disney” let’s me do just that.
- I find the challenge of saving for Disney World magical. Every time I make a deposit, I think of how much fun that money will bring my family.

Thank you for reading Couponing to Disney and being a SavEar!
I love Disney and used to go multiple times a year until 2015. I and my teenager want to go again but I am a widow and have a very tight budget I can not wait to read and learn from you . THANKS
hi my name is tyler perry
I haven’t been there since 2000, my husband was there in the 80’s, we now have two girls that we have been wanting to take, we was gonna take them this summer but a more important situation came up so now we are planning next summer, which by that time my oldest will be big enough to ride everything and my youngest will be big enough to ride all but the rocking roller coaster, unless she grows 6 inches by then, lol, I have enjoyed all of your posts, they are very helpful, thanks.
I am glad someone loves Disney like my family. This is a great idea, I am going to try to start couponing also. I do several things also to get there. When I grocery shop and have an extra $25.00 I will buy a gift card for Disney they never expire and you can pay your entire trip off with them. I also have a Disney Visa Card that I charge every purchase I can on it and pay it off at the end of the month. The only way I can make sure I have the money to pay the card is to write each purchase out of my checkbook like it was a debit. I am very cautious about the charges and my checking account balance. I love your ideas and I am going to try to do this. Thanks
I am so glad I found your blog! I am planning a trip to Disney on a really tight budget, and you have amazing advice!
Thanks so much for all your disney world tips. FInally brought my kids and did our first trip to WDW last month. Youre tips and recommendations saved us so much time and money. My kids had a very magical low stress tip…also I want to recomment the Royal Caribe Orlando to you. I found it on mousesavers. I was alble to book it on bookit.com under a (mystery deal) but you know what hotel youre booking on based on the reviews on the side….basically we had a 4 star hotel for a 3 star price and amaxing pool with slide fabulous room and only 5 miles from the parks!!!
Thank you again!
I’m so glad you found it helpful!
Thank you so much!!! I am so glad I found his site via Pinterest, I own a timeshare at Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake right outside of Disney and we always seem to come up short each year for tickets to Disney, which wasn’t a big deal until we had kids, now Disney is a necessity!!! I am so thankful and grateful that you have shared your strategies, this will most definitely help a procrastinator and budget delinquent like myself. I can’t say THANK YOU enough ♥
Not sure how Holiday Inn Vacation Club works, but you might try to find out whether you can rent your week to someone else every other year — that should give you the money for your own trips on the opposite year. I have stayed at that resort before (through an exchange with one of my time shares) and it is a great place to stay.
Good luck!
Just wanted to let y’all know that this system really works. Using these tips, we put money aside here and there since January to go on our trip next month (September). Last month we met our goal of $3,700. It’s almost like a free vacation. Almost. :)
I just found your site and I love it. I have used coupons in the past but find that most of them are for household/personal things. Since I wear little makeup, make my own laundry detergent and cleaners, I don’t save all that much money. I do use coupons for frozen vegetables, fruit, dairy, etc but find few for produce and meat and staples like flour and sugar. Also, seems like there are less and less food coupons. The one thing we have started to do is save quarters. We have a can we put them in and don’t use it, period. Any more ideas????
I have been receiving your email for awhile now but honestly never read your site until tonight. Thanks for sharing your tips! I am already saving for a trip NEXT winter but honestly need to come up with about $1200 ASAP for my daughter to be able to continue on her competition gymnastics team. I thought this might be a good reason to test your ‘system’. Wish me luck! (Anything after she is paid for will go in my Disney fund.
It is so nice to here about someone that loves Disney as much as I do. I am in love with it so much I wish I could make it into a career! I love going to Disney World. Even on a bad day I can play a Disney song in the car and everyone lightens up and my teens, which you know teens, smile and sing along. They have grew up on Disney movies. This sight is so very smart and with a Disney theme I adore it. People have no idea how much effort and time goes into the coupon finds. Me and my aunt use to do the double up to a dollar days at Fred’s back when they still let you do that. We would walk away with fifty dollars worth of items for a few bucks. It was a lot of planning and calculating. So I know this is a lot of hard work you do for everyone. Thank you and I will start my magical journey to couponing to Disney today!
Couponing and Disney…my new favorite blog!! :)
Hello, and I love the blog as much I love Walt Disney World. (I live in Florida, and the resort is an hour from home, so this makes a super-staycation destination.) I happily placed it in my blogroll of my new blog, Gradually Getting Wealthy. I’m a budding network marketer but most of the posts there will be for non-network marketers as well. So happy travels to building wealth and enjoying the magic debt-free!
We took my step children in 2010.It was such a magical time for all of us. Now that we have a new addition to the family (our son we had almost a year ago) doing something like this would be the best thing. Our dream is to go back and if this helps me I could say it all happened with coming apon the website ccouponing to disney!
Well, I’m totally new to this site. I just started couponing for groceries after I saw extreme couponing on tv this past year, so I’m a relative newbie even at that. My son and daughter and I love Disney World so much, its scary. My mother in law saved up and sent us as a surprise in 2007 when my daughter was 11 and son was 7, for which I am eternally grateful, because that gave us all the experience of taking little ones to Disney.

There is no place like Disney that’s for sure.
So Happy to find this, planning our second trip Christmas 2013 so this will be perfect in helping me saving along the way.
