Christmas décor at Disney World adds extra magic to the air. I love seeing the Mickey shaped wreaths, and the tree on Main St USA is breathtaking. In case you were wondering how long after Christmas you can catch this magic, today we are going to answer this!
So just when does Disney take down there Christmas decorations? I can tell you to start, it is not the day after Christmas. Therefore if you are at Disney World for New Years eve and beyond, you still have a chance to see the festive holiday décor.
The process of taking down Christmas decorations at Disney parks & Resorts typically happens in the first week of January and usually the following weekend after New Years Day. Therefore, we expect 2019 Holiday Décor to start disappearing by January 5, 2020.
However, each year will vary depending on what day New Years Eve/Day fall on. Such as, in 2018 all the Holiday décor was gone by January 7. Another thing to keep in mind, is when Disney World Marathon Weekend falls on as this can delay the process.
Therefore if you hope to still catch Christmas Décor at Disney World beyond New Years Day, your best bet is to visit in the days just after.
