When we were there in Aug 2008, my son wanted to stop and see the Army man, I said we would stop on our way back, and then of course he was gone! He still talks about how mad he was. When we were there in Dec. we didn’t see him. I am hoping he is there when we go back in Oct!
My daughter (3 years) has not gotten into getting autographs yet. She just loves to meet them. She always dances with the 3 princesses in the toontown tent.
these are the BEST!! I bet these memories make all your hard work so worth it! We go to Disney in CA & our kids just cant get enough of the Characters! Have fun!!
So, so cute. Looking at your pictures made me cry. So many fond memories of my childhood came flooding back and all the fun times I have had taking my own kids to disney. I think I love disney more as an adult than I did as a child because of the pure happiness and magic on my kids faces. Thanks for sharing!
I love the characters! When I went on my alon etrip with hubby we went and saw a ton. I got a canvas bag, that is now my purse and had all the characters sign it. I JUST LOVE IT!
Those pics bring tears to my eyes. We took our boys when one was a couple weeks shy of 3 years old and the other was 14 months. I was criticized for taking them so young – people saying they won’t remember it. Ya know what? I didn’t care. They were free to get in and the looks of enjoyment on their faces were worth all the price we paid for that vacation! The pics I have of my boys with all the characters are priceless! I made them each a scrapbook for Christmas last year and they treasure those books. Each book has pics of my kids with all the characters and their autographs. Can’t wait to go back in 6 months! They will be almost 5 years old and just turned 3 when we go. Now it’s more expensive because we have to pay for both of them, but I don’t care. It will be a blast!
besides your little one being so adorable…how wonderful for the characters to also be so involved in the hug, it’s nice to see such warm hugs (even though you know they’re sweating like crazy in the hot weather).
You know how some people shake their head when they see a crazy grown-up hugging the characters? If it is Sorcerer Mickey that crazy grown up is probably me. You don’t need me to explain it, you know I have happy memories so he just makes me feel good.
Lol I’m surprised your son wasn’t totally freaked out by that green dude hugging him!
He is so precious! I bet he just a love bug all the time!
My ds was SO not interested in Stitch’s autograph. He was happy with just the hug.
OMG! So cute!
I am notorious for chasing down the characters for a photo and autograph…
Aww I bet he is in heavan!

Hugs are way better than autographs especially when you have a picture of them. :)

Adorable, just sweet and innocent and I know it must bring joy to the person in that costume as well. What a job, eh?! How rewarding!!
Hugs are so much better than autographs. A picture is worth a thousand words.
