This tip comes from my reader Marie….
We re-use yogurt cups as containers for our own jell-o cups then the kids can just grab one and go outside!
We also keep plastic lids (like butter, sour cream, etc) and we slit a hole and stick the paint brush through. It keeps it from dripping on their hands. It also works for popsicle sticks!

My great-grandmother used to make me Jello cups, before they came prepackaged. She would make the Jello on the stove and pour it into small plastic drinking cups. That was one of my favorite snacks.
I like the idea about using the lids for painting. It will help keep the activity relatively neat.

I make Jell-O cups every Sunday for my son to take to school. He gets to pick the flavor of the week and I make it “from scratch”. I use these small gladware cups with lids that i got at Target for $2.xx for a set of 8 and it takes all of 5 minutes maybe. He loves having JellO for school and I love not paying the 6pk price.

Awesome idea! Thanks for the tip..I am going to have to start buying the yogurts with actual lids instead of a peal off top
