We all know that water is the best thing for both our budget and our waistline, but it can be so boring. I thought it would be great if we could share our tips on how to make drinking water ‘fun’.
Here’s mine:
Get a champagne flute, wine glass, or other fancy stemware and drink your water from it. You can also pick up plastic versions for the kids at the party store.
I also have a plastic Mickey cup that I use to drink my water from too. I love adding some Disney magic to the water.

I find I drink more water when i put it into a reusable water bottle (BPA free of course)….at Rite Aid this year I bought these really big water bottles with a handle. the lid has a flip up straw and there is an insert with blue ice you can put in the freezer. I fill these up with cold water (I am way better at drinking water if it is cold) and drink and drink and drink…and that way I know how much water I have consumed.
On days when water is really unappealing and i am craving soda, I drink sparkling water instead (either flavored or not) and the carbonation tricks me into thinking I am drinking something bad!!

I like to get sugar free drink mixes like Crystal Light becasue they are sugar free. And Dollar Tree recently had a couple of different brands (sugar free Hawaiian punch was one) for $1 a box. Some how my daughters dirnk bottled water better than tap water or even when I pour it into a cup, but when I let them use the single serving drink pouches they will drink it even more–which is really good beacuse it gets so hot in the desert where we live. I like it too–the store brand sugar free drink mixes are great also and they have so man y different flavors!

I like to flavor my water with some fresh fruit, herbs, or a cucumber. Strawberry and mint water is the best!!

I buy the True Lemon, Lime, Orange and lemonade packets to in water. They are all natural and sugar free. Each packet is equal to 1 lemon wedge. They taste great and the good part about them is that my children like them as well, so it helps getting them to drink more water.

The Dollar Tree store has some pretty great glassware and of course, at a dollar, its great! Add a little twist of lime/lemon and you feel like your fine dining :)

I like to drink my 64 ounces from a large plastic cup with a straw. Preferrably a fun Starbucks recycle, or even Tim Hortons. I seem to get more down regularly with a straw. If I get bored I put 2 or 3 ounces of grape juice or cranberry juice in for flavor. It’s Lots cheaper than flavored waters etc..

It does seem to go down better with a straw!
