If you live in one of the states that charge you a deposit when you purchase canned and bottle drinks, you could take the money you receive when you return them to the store and add it to your fund. You have already paid the deposit and it’s already been deducted from your grocery budget, so when you do return the bottles it’s what we call Found Money.
My friend lives in a deposit state (I do not), and she was able to add $15.90 to her fund when she returned her cans and bottles to her local Kroger Store.

I live in NYC. Everybody hates the litter in NY, but me! Just a walk around the corner and I have already found $0.75 in bottles. I’ve been adding ALOT of money to my fund for this.

I live in MA, we have the bottle deposit. We don’t return our cans and bottle very often but when we do its big. I put that money towards my supplies for Disney or towards something at Disney by cashing them in. It’s almost “found” money!

I live in a state with the bottle deposit, and the last couple weeks we have started walking around our apartment complex’s recycle stations and notice a lot of people don’t take there bottles back to get the deposit so we started collecting them and in just 2 weeks we have made over 12 dollars just from looking in the glass recycle bins!
