We aren’t all blessed with ample cabinet space and large pantries and even entire rooms that we can devote to our stockpile. Sometimes we have to get creative on where we store our bargains.
Here are a few places I have been known to store my stockpile:
- I once converted a linen closet to a pantry. I added multiple shelves from the floor to the ceiling.
- I added an extra shelf to each of my closets (even the kids!) to store my stockpile.
- I hung a shoe organizer behind the door in the bathroom to store my bathroom stockpile.
- I have bins under my bed to store my stockpile.
- I have stored cereal, diapers, and other dry goods under my kid’s beds.
- Sometimes I even stick things under and behind my couch.
If you have your stockpile stored in creative spots, I’d love to hear them…

My main storage is under my double bathroom sink. I can put a lot of stuff under there!

I love this idea- I would be nervous to put things that were very heavy in there but would work great for stuff like cereal.

Kinda like what Kate and Jon Gosselin had installed in their garage (not the really big house, but the one they lived in when the show got famous). Except they used it for toys and equipment

I love the idea about storing things in luggage!

Replace those awful wire shelves in the laundry room above the washer & dryer and install cabinets. They provide a lot more room for storage and make for a neater appearance.

I use the guest bathtub to store items. Everyone uses the shower in our master bath, so I take advantage of the tub in the guest bath to store some of my stock pile, you would never know because it’s hidden behind the shower curtain.

I have two shoe organizers hanging in my closet and one on the back of my pantry door….I also have used suitcases that are not being used and storage containers under the bed. I have shelving in my pantry but they are FULL!

One space that most people waste is the space right above every closet door. You can easily install hooks and then store stuff in bags. Or you can buy cheap brackets and a board at the hardware store and install a shelf. The tricky part is remembering you have actually stored items there, since it’s a spot that isn’t visible unless you are standing inside the closet and looking up : )

I am pretty new at this but I love watching my stock pile grow!! I did however tell the kids that we may have to cancel our next trip to Disney so that I can use the money to build a storage room. Needless to say, that did not go over too well!

Aw! I bet it didn’t go over well! :(

I don’t know how creative this is but for my birthday, I asked my father in law who does wood working as a hobby to build me a shelf for the upper part of my pantry that was otherwise wasted.

I have been wondering why there is so much space above that top shelf :)

We had two large speakers so I put them 3 feet apart and placed a piece of wood on top. I covered everything with a piece of fabric and hid things behind the fabric and placed decorative bowls on top.

I draped a cloth around our TV stand/table… lots of storage space under there!
