Love! Love! Love! Teppan Edo…we happened upon this great place on our 1st trip and we didn’t have a dinner reservation (what a newbie mistake!). All the other restaurants in Epcot were booked or had really long waits. I climbed the tall staircase (that may be what scared everyone else off) and to our surprise we were seated immediately!! We have eaten there on our 3 return trips and it is one our favorite dinners :)

Our family of 8 visited this restaurant in Sept of 2011. We loved it! We actually had our own table so we didn’t have any unfamiliar dinner companions. The kids (ages 6, 6, 6, 9, 9, 11) all loved the fancy work of our chef and he interacted with them so well, even though his English was limited. Even our picky eaters were game to try what he had fixed in such a fun way. Some of their dipping sauces made the meal for us, and dessert was incredible! Would definitely go back!!

Been here 3 times in 6 years. The show is fun, but if you have this kind restaurant in your area you’ve already seen it. The show doesn’t change. The food is good quality, but nothing outstanding. My kids love so that is why we go back. If you are looking for quiet and laid back this is not the place to go? Enjoy it for what it is and you can say you experienced it.

Our family loves this restaurant! The food is always good and the chefs are lots of fun. We have found that the more you are willing to interact with your dining companions, the servers, and the chefs, the more fun you will have! Try the plum wine while you are there. Yummy!

We have been there 2x in the past 2 years. It is a great place to get a vegetarian meal for a child. Most other places kid’s meals are limited to hamburgers, chicken nuggets and corn dogs- this was a great alternative for our veggie-5-yo. A lot of the experience depends on the flexibility and friendliness of your dinner companions. The people surrounding you can make or break the visit, but both times we have been there food was wonderful and the show was a lot of fun.

We ate here on our trip in ’09. I thought it would be a fun experience for our oldest who was 9 at the time. However, I was disappointed all around. The food was bland and the “show” the cook put on wasn’t that exciting. It didn’t seem like he did anything. Stick to your local hibachi restaurant for the experience and eat somewhere else at Disney!
