Disney’s Quick Service Dining Plan is so popular! I know many families enjoy visiting the Disney Parks with the Quick Service Dining Plan attached to their reservation. It allows so much flexibility when in the parks, plus there are many Quick Service Locations with a great variety of food! This dining plan is great for families who want to do as many attractions as they can, while stopping for a short time to eat. That doesn’t mean you are rushing through the parks shoving a hamburger in your mouth, though. It means that instead of working time for a table service meal, which can be an hour or so, into your schedule you only allow yourself about 30 minutes to eat. There are many ways to enjoy Disney’s Quick Service Dining Plan, and get your money’s worth out of it!
Are children under 3 charged for meals at Quick Service locations? At Disney, kids under three are free for everything-meals and park tickets. That being said, that does not mean the quick service location will give you a child’s meal of your choice for free to feed your young one. They are expected to share off of adult meals. However, if you want something specifically for you child to eat, feel free to order it, but you will need to pay.
Are counter service locations open during special events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party? Yes, they are open. However, they may have limited hours and not all counter service locations will be open. Be sure to check the Times Guide, or enter the park at 4PM with your party ticket to assure you’ll be able to enjoy a meal at your favorite quick service location. Be sure to look for extra fun snacks that you can use snack credits towards while at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party!
Do Quick Service Dining locations have high chairs? Yes, they do. If you have trouble locating one, feel free to ask a CastMember. In fact, at many of the locations, there is stroller parking very close by. If possible, it is a lot easier to park your stroller and put your little one in a high chair. The inside of many Quick Service locations aren’t very stroller friendly.
Is Be Our Guest counter service or table service? Yes and yes. Currently, this is the only Disney dining location that is quick service for breakfast and lunch and table service for dinner. That being said, and due to the popularity, you do need reservations if you’d like to dine there for any of those meals. If you choose breakfast or lunch, it will be deducted as a quick service credit Dinner will be deducted as table service.
What are some unique Quick Service Dining locations I should try? Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge has some very unique, African inspired foods. In fact, the soups they serve are the same ones served at Boma! Another great location is Pepper Market at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is amazing! The fun aspect of this location is that they have various “bars”. Pasta bar, hamburger bar, fajita and taco bar, etc. So good! Another great option is the Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation. This location has some very healthy options to enjoy. Multigrain rice, flatbreads, buckwheat pastas and waffles, etc. Eating at these fun locations gets you out of the parks and gives you a chance to see some of the fun Disney resorts!
