Who is looking forward to enjoying some great Disney restaurants on their next trip? This means lots of fun places to enjoy for dining, magical character interaction experiences, and perhaps dining at a signature location as a special treat. Guests are constantly tweaking their Advanced Dining Reservations {ADRs}, and often waiting for that special time to become available so then their Disney parks trip is perfect. But what if it’s your first time making ADRs? Or you are having trouble with the website? No worries! Today I am going to share some Disney Advanced Dining Reservation Tips and Tricks with you!
1. I am not sure if I want a 4PM or a 5PM dinner at Coral Reef. Am I allowed to make one in each time slot and then decide later which I’d like to keep? Unfortunately not. Disney’s Dining Reservation System does not allow guests to have two dining reservations within two hours of each other. So if you try to make the 5PM after you’ve made the 4PM, it will prompt you to cancel the 4PM before confirming the 5PM reservation for you.
2. Is Be Our Guest a table service or a quick service dining credit? The answer is both! If you are dining there for breakfast and lunch, it counts as a quick service entitlement. If you have a dinner reservation at Be our Guest, it is counted as a Table Service entitlement. This is the only restaurant on Disney property with this system. Due to its popularity, regardless which time of day you are eating, a reservation is a must.
3. I want to just order the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream. Do I need a reservation for this? Yes. The Kitchen Sink is only served on the “table side” of Beaches and Cream. So in order to be sure you get to enjoy this yummy treat, you will want to make a reservation for Beaches and Cream.
4. I am having difficulty getting an ADR for 9 guests. May I break us down into two groups? Yes, you can. However, since you cannot have an ADR within an hour of each other, you will have to call Disney Dining to do so. The CastMember can help you break your party down, secure your reservations, and you will be all set. You will need to request that your party be seated close to each other, as it is not guaranteed that you will be next to each other. It’s always a good idea to ask.
5. I need to add another guest onto our ADR. Is this possible? Sometimes it is, and sometimes it is not. It really depends on the restaurant. In my experience, I have had to switch times just a bit to accommodate that extra person. There is always the chance you may need to make the ADR for one guest, and ask to be seated next to each other. Call 407.WDW.DINE, and they are more than happy to help.
