When your 180-day from travel arrives, you are able to make dining reservations for Walt Disney World. If you are a guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can make these at 180-days prior to arrival, plus up to 10 days after. If you are staying off property, or perhaps just visiting Disney for the day, you can also make them 180-days prior to arrival. However, you will need to make them one day at a time if you want them for all the days of your trip. There are two ways to add Disney Dining reservations to your My Disney Experience.
First, if you log into your My Disney Experience as early as 6AM on your 180-day mark, you can make them online. By doing so, you will have the most availability for your stay, and will likely get almost all the reservations, locations, and times you are hoping for. Second, when you are finished with the booking process, the last screen will generate a confirmation number. At that point, you can go back to your “My Reservations and Tickets” page and see any dining reservations you have made neatly lined up in your account.
The second way to add Disney Dining reservations to your My Disney Experience is do so so manually. Should you choose to do your Disney Dining Reservations over the phone, either with the automated prompts or with an actual CastMember, you will need to link them in your My Disney Experience manually. When you have finished the booking process, you will be given a confirmation number.
Log into your My Disney Experience and go to the “My Reservations and Tickets” page . Scroll about halfway down this page, and you will see a button labeled “Link Dining Reservation”. Click on this, and on the next screen, enter your Confirmation Number and Last Name on the reservation. Follow the prompts, and then you will have your dining reservation linked in your My Disney Experience. You must do this for each reservation you made.
It is a very simple process, and it will help you keep your Disney Dining Reservations in one place. From here, you can then change and/or cancel any of them if they are linked properly. Using My Disney Experience can be a great asset to your Walt Disney World vacation!
