Wondering where to meet Ariel at Walt Disney World? If you have a Little Mermaid fan in your family, you will want to be sure to meet Ariel at Walt Disney World. Amongst the other princess friends, Ariel is a “must see” for many young princesses when they visit Walt Disney World. You can see her in both her human and mermaid forms in various places at Walt Disney World. Let’s take a look at where you can meet Ariel at Walt Disney World!
- Fantasyland. The only place you are guaranteed to see Ariel is in her grotto in the New Fantasyland. This is a permanent meet and greet location with just Ariel in her clam shell getting guests. Ariel spends a nice amount of time with guests who come to see her “under the sea”. The MemoryMaker photographers are right there as well, ready to capture this special time with your family and Ariel. Ariel’s Grotto is located just next to Under the Sea; Journey of the Little Mermaid in Fantasyland. This meet and greet uses Disney’s FastPass Plus system, or you can certainly stand by to wait to see her. Be sure to visit her at park opening or closing for a shorter wait if you don’t have a FastPass Plus.
- Princess Dining Experiences. There are two princess dining experiences at Walt Disney World. Ariel is typically at both locations in her human form. However, keep in mind that with a character dining experience, characters are subject to change. You can see Ariel at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall located in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot or at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom. Both of these allow Ariel to visit you at your table, get a photo and an autograph. She is in her human form at both of these locations.
While those are the three locations you can meet Ariel at Walt Disney World, you can also see her in other places. She makes an appearance in her mermaid form in the Festival of Fantasy Parade at 3PM everyday at Magic Kingdom. You can also see her perform in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She also makes an appearance with Prince Eric in Fantasmic. Finally, you can enjoy some Ariel and Little Mermaid magic while you take a ride in a clamshell through Under the Sea; Journey of the Little Mermaid in Fantasyland. If you really want to have a fantastic Little Mermaid experience, be sure to book a Little Mermaid themed room at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
