I asked the Couponing to Disney readers what foods they didn’t like at Walt Disney World and got over 200 responses. Here are the top 25 foods to skip at Walt Disney World (obviously you don’t have to take our word for it):
1. My daughter had the chicken salad at Pinocchio and it was disgusting! – Dahlia
2. Burger from ABC Commissary. It was SO bad. – Jessica
3. Surf and turf burger from landscape of flavors. It was supposed to be a black bean burger. – Barbie
4. School Bread! Yuck! – Wendy
5. Lobster Roll from Columbia Harbor House. – Lynn
6. Grits at Tusker House breakfast. – Holly
7. Cassoulet at Cinderella’s Royal Table. – Marcie
8. Everything at Tony’s. My chicken parmesan was cold, chicken still partially frozen. My son’s pizza was both burnt and undercooked. It was just terrible. And the waiter was rude. – Karenann
9. Cinnamon Roll at Gaston’s Tavern. It was very dry and stale. – Jennifer
10. The scrambled eggs at every breakfast station. – Ste
11. The shrimp and spinach at Sci-Fi, totally tasteless. I should have stuck with the hamburger everyone suggested. – Jennifer
12. Garden Grove on a seafood night. We had the worst service and the seafood was horrible. – Nellie
13. The Salmon at Coral Reef. – Patricia
14. Clam bake at Cape May Cafe was disgusting and huge waste of money. – Alice
15. The Turkey LEGGS were too salty. – Meranda
16. Biergarten was probably the worst food I’ve had at Disney and the only restaurant I wouldn’t go back to. – Amber
17. San Angel Inn! Awful. We had some amazing food during our trip and we were most excited about this place and it was dreadful. My husband is Mexican and this stuff was seriously terrible. We got the platter to share. The only thing worth eating were the black beans. – Ashly
18. Hands down the pot roast mac & cheese from Friar’s Nook…..I think that’s the name of it. Never! Again!! – D-Neida
19. Cheeseburger at Electric Umbrella in Epcot. Perhaps it was an off day, but it was a nasty hockey puck. – Tara
20. The water. I had one in 2013 and it tasted like dirt and metal and I can’t explain the rest. So I decided to get a soda and the ice tasted the same. I bring my own bottled water now and get only bottled drinks when I purchase anything. – Nikki
21. Our entire meal at Big River Grille. Tasteless and lukewarm at best. – Kimberly

We have always loved the turkey legs!

Usually love your lists but this one really is dictated so much by personal preference that I don’t find it really meaningful. For example, we tried the School Bread on our last visit and my husband and I both LOVED it!

My family loved everything we had at Tony’s. The device was great, the food was hot. It’s actually one of the places I recommend.

The food at Biergarten was bad. I had high hopes but ended up greatly disappointed.

My husband and I love the food there.

Wow, some of my favorite foods are on this list. I guess everyone has different tastes.

I agree with the School Bread – I wanted to like it so much because so many people recommended it! I think it’s just a personal preference thing, though, I don’t think it’s actually bad. But I do agree with the lobster roll, I was so disappointed. Indeed, the turkey legs are salty, I think people think they will taste like roasted turkey legs but they are smoked, big difference! I do disagree with the Cape May Buffet, though. Do I love everything on the buffet?…no. But my family and I, who all have different tastes in food, have all found things to love on that buffet (and we don’t love all the buffets at Disney World, to be sure…) And I agree with the salmon at Coral Reef. As much as we love the atmosphere, we’re DONE giving that place a chance – it’s not just the salmon, we’ve tried many things. And we used to love San Angel Inn, but they, like Coral Reef, are trying to go too gourmet and failing at it? Just give us some mainstream well-made, tasty food and quit trying to be too “Top Chef!” That’s our 2 cents, anyway!

Tony’s is our favorite and we get the chicken parm and pizza every time! Must have been a fluke that night!!
