If you are taking a toddler on a Disney Cruise, you’ll want to make sure you are fully prepared for everything it has to offer for this age group.
1. Pack ‘n Play and Diaper Genie – Request that both items be left in your stateroom before your arrival. The Pack ‘n Play is really nice and my almost 3 year old slept in it without any issues.
2. Nursery – You can book up to 10 hours in the It’s A Small World Nursery before your arrival. I highly recommend you consider booking evening hours during your dining times. Little ones are often tired from long, exciting days and having them in the nursery during this time will make your meal easier. They will feed your child, just ask what they are serving.
3. Splash areas – All four of the ships have splash areas for children who are not potty trained. Just make sure you bring plenty of swim diapers.
4. Open Play Time – Throughout the cruise, the Oceaneer club will offer open play time for families. During these time blocks, you are welcome to bring your toddlers to play in Oceaneers. You are responsible for watching them.
5. Characters – Meeting characters is exciting for toddlers and you can create some great memories! Don’t worry too much about getting the toddler to look at the camera, but focus on capturing their interactions with the characters.
