Once summer is over at Disney World, pumpkins, scarecrows and fall decorations line Main St USA and more. Halloween decorations can be enjoyed as early as late August/ early September. If you are visiting Disney World this time of year, below are 10 activities for Halloween time.
1. Buy a Specialty Popcorn bucket – around the spooky time of year the popcorn buckets get a Halloween theme, making for a fun collectible. Found in all parks at Disney World.
2. Halloween events at Disney Springs – 2017 included a DJ dance party, special photo opportunities and more.
3. Browse the Halloween Decorations on Main St USA at Magic Kingdom. Pose in front of a Mickey Shaped pumpkin.
4. Ride the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom, for spooky fun and an interactive queue, offered all year long.
5. Return to Sleepy Hollow – ticketed event includes: A viewing of the classic 1949 Disney animated film inside the Tri-Circle-D stables, See Galloping Ghosts and An Encounter with the Headless Horseman. Cost for 2018: $22/pp for general admission, $38/pp for a Halloween Treat Bag, a priority photo with the Headless Horseman and premium seating.

7. Buy or browse Halloween themed Ears and merchandise.
8. Minnie’s Halloween Dine – enjoy Halloween décor and all-you-care-to-eat at this character dining experience.
9. Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom has offered Halloween activities in the past.
10. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party includes events such as: Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Boo To You Parade, trick or treating and more!
This time of year also brings Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, typically occurring early September through mid-November. This event is included with your park ticket to Epcot.
