Wow! Look at Jean go! She shared her Disney Fund Savings Report with us in the SavEars group a few days ago, and she is doing an amazing job!
Here is what she had to say:
When I started my 2018 Savings for Disney I wasn’t sure when my next trip would be (but I’m always saving for Disney even with no plans). In March, my daughter decided to apply for the Summer alumni role of the Disney College Program. She found out in April that she was accepted. So I made vacation plans to coincide with the end of her program to bring her home. We’re DVC and they had a really good deal last year for Annual passes – they were not much more than the tickets we were looking to buy for our trip this past December. So we’re set with room & tickets.
We always try and do at least one new thing on our trips and this year Disney is offering their earliest Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dates ever. It will be very weird celebrating in mid-August but it’s our chance to go for the first time. We also lucked out that their DVC “Moonlight Magic” will coincide with our trip and I was lucky enough to snag the free tickets (limited quantity was sold out in 5 minutes). I’m always motivated by how people save for their trips, or any financial goal, so I’m sharing how and where I saved pennies daily to help put towards paying for the MNSSHP tickets and food in hopes to motivate someone else:”
