Do your kids drive you nuts on long car trips or airplane rides? Mine use to until I discovered this little trick. Pack each kid their very own activity pack. An activity pack is just a bag or container with some small things to keep your little ones busy while sitting for long distances. It can be anything from sticker to small toys. The goal is to bring things that will entertain them for a little while. I like to add in a fun snack or two.

Most of things I use come from my gift closet and where purchased on clearance. Except the Lego’s we have bins of them. My boys love creating things out of Lego’s. I just went and grabbed a few handfuls of those to add in. The small toy sets I open and divide them out. Both boys packs are identical. Chloe’s has less things. She will bring her adult coloring book and colored pencils. Below is what I added into each activity pack.
Boys:
Jelly Bean’s (I divided the Frozen 2 package out among all 3 kids.)
Apple sauce
Lego’s
Off brand Lego tape
1 Green Army Man
Mini coloring set
The Melissa and Doug sticker pad they will have to share.
Chloe:
Jelly Bean’s (I divided the Frozen 2 package out among all 3 kids.)
Apple sauce
2 Cactus pens
We will also be bring each kid some books, a tablet or laptop, and headphones to entertain each one. We only have a 5 hour drive. Followed by a 3 hour flight the following day. The flight is at 5 A.M. I am hoping they sleep most of the way. If we where going to be in the car for longer I would of brought more things.
